Rangers striker wanted by Fenerbahce

Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos is on Fenerbahce’s radar.

Reports in Turkey are suggesting Fenerbahce are readying themselves to make an offer for Rangers hitman Alfredo Morelos.

The 21-year-old has so far scored 11 goals in 22 appearances for the Scottish club. With their aging strikers misfiring, Fener have turned their attention to younger players who can rejuvenate the team.

Another name that has been linked with Fenerbahce is Milan Pavkov of Serbia’s Red Star Belgrade.

Alfredo has been rumoured to be unsettled by the links to a transfer away from Rangers. Prior to the closing of the transfer window in January, he was linked with a move to Chinese Super League side Beijing Renhe for a large fee. The move never materialized, however.

For the time being, he remains in Glasgow.
