Fenerbahce’s striker crisis

Fenerbahce strikers can't score!

Fenerbahce’s strikers have the lowest conversion ratio this season.

Fenerbahce is in need of major reinforcements upfront after the findings of a review which has been done by a team of sports analysts in Turkey.

After 20 weeks of Super Lig matches, Fenerbahce’s strikers (Roberto Soldado, Fernandao and Vincent Janssen) have found the back of the net just 6 times. This is the worst conversion rate the club has seen in the last 5 years.

For comparison, their former striker Moussa Sow, who now plays for rivals Bursaspor, had managed to score at least 8 league goals in each of his seasons with the Yellow Canaries. Fernandao had managed to find the back of the net 10 times in the 2015/2016 season.

This season the stats are as follows;

Fernandao – 1 goal , Roberto Soldado – 3 goals , Vincent Janssen – 2 goals.

Fenerbahce is heavily relying on their midfielders to provide them with goals however how long that will last remains to be seen.
