Turkey’s national team moves up

Turkey’s national football team has moved up 3 places in the latest rankings.
According to FIFA’s website, Turkey has performed well enough to move up 3 spots to claim 38th place, with 735 points in the latest ranking.
The Top 10 places remained unchanged as 1st placed Germany topped the table, closely followed by Brazil and Portugal in 2nd and 3rd respectively.
The Turkish national team’s best result on the international stage remains the 2002 FIFA World Cup when they finished 3rd in the international tournament. Their second best feat is reaching the semi-finals in EURO 2008.
