Yusuf Yazici’s agent in Trabzon to discuss move

Trabzonspor’s budding star Yusuf Yazici is being scouted by several big clubs from Europe.

Yusuf Yazici is one of the few promising players to come out of the Trabzonspor academy in recent years. The 21-year-old has been previously linked with Arsenal after claims by his manager that Arsene Wenger has personally scouted the young talent.

The player’s agent, Erkut Sogut, has arrived in Trabzon to discuss with his club a potential move this summer. Sogut also represents other well-known players including Mesut Ozil and Ilkay Gundogan. It is expected that the agent will sit down with Trabzonspor president Muharrem Usta to get permission to sell and find out what their asking price would be for any potential suitors.

After the home loss to Basaksehir on Sunday, Yusuf Yazici spoke to reporters about his opinion on the match;

“From an important match, we left without a point. Even though it was a great atmosphere. I know our supporters are sad and upset. I understand their feelings. I am also aware of my personal responsibility. We will work harder to be better. I’d like to thank everyone.”

Yazici has been scouted by several big clubs prior to the January transfer window however no move took place. The player has been rumoured to be interested in continuing his career in the English Premier League.

Since breaking into the first team, the attacking midfielder has made 45 Super Lig appearances and scored 9 goals.
