Gomis given all-clear to play in next match

Gomis given clear by staff

Bafetimbi Gomis suffered a medical scare on Sunday after collapsing face-first due to a medical condition he has had for years. He was given the all clear by medical staff today.

Galatasaray were on the receiving end of some good news today after their training session in preparation for their match against Bursaspor. French goalscorer Gomis was given the all-clear to take part in the match later this week.

The team went through routine drills which focused on tactical cohesion and passing. Fatih Terim had his players carry out situational tactical formations as well as practice set-pieces. The training session came to an end with cooling-down exercises.

The manager was told of the results of the successful operation on Cedric Carrasso’s left knee by one of the club’s assistants. Bafetimbi Gomis went through rigorous neurological and cardiological examinations to further assess the player’s health after Sunday’s incident. The findings of the analysis were positive and no ill findings were reported. He’s been deemed fit and ready for their next match which is against Bursaspor.

Cim Bom will continue their preparations for the Bursaspor encounter tomorrow at 11AM at the club’s facilities.
