Scouts to watch Trabzonspor-Besiktas match

Trabzonspor’s match against Besiktas on Monday (March 5th) should be an entertaining duel. So much so, that there will be scouts from top European clubs watching.

Trabzonspor have some undeniable talent in their first-team with the likes of Okay Yokuslu, Yusuf Yazici and Abdulkadir Omur among the starting eleven. These young players have been receiving a lot of praise for their performances in recent times and it has not gone unnoticed abroad.

During their Monday night home match against Besiktas, these three players will be watched closely by scouts from several big European clubs. It has been reported that Roma, Ajax and Porto will have scouts assessing Abdulkadir Omur, while Lyon and Milan will be tracking Yusuf Yazici. West Brom and Valencia will also have their scouts present during the match and their focus will be Okay Yokuslu. West Brom have been keeping tabs on Yokuslu for quite some time now, making a bid for the player a few months earlier in the season, which was ultimately rejected.

This summer, however, Trabzonspor are looking to cash-in on their prized assets as they seek to ease the financial crisis the club are currently going through.

Trabzonspor’s administration held a meeting with their manager Riza Calimbay in order to avoid any confusion and to make sure their promising talent was focused on the match ahead, a match which could also affect Calimbay’s future with the club due to the club’s poor performance this season.
