Turkey U19 team selected

Turkey’s Under-19 national football team is set to take part in the 2018 UEFA U19 European Championship Qualifying rounds later this month and the final squad has been announced.

The Turkish U19 national team has been decided by manager Vedat Inceefe and the young boys will be doing their best to qualify for this summer’s U19 Euro Championship which will take place in Finland from July 16 until July 29 2018.

The final squad;

Goalkeepers:

Mehmet Ataberk Dadakdeniz (Bursaspor), Ozan Can Oruç (Altinordu A.S.)

Defenders:

Alpay Çelebi (Besiktas A.S.), Furkan Korkut (Galatasaray A.S.), Gökay Güney (Galatasaray A.S.), Mert Müldür (SK Rapid Wien), Mert Yilmaz (RB Leipzig), Ramazan Keskin (Bursaspor)

Midfielders:

Dogukan Sinik (Kemerspor 2003), Enes Islam Ilkin (Samsunspor), Güven Yalçin (Bayer 04 Leverkusen), Halil Ibrahim Dervisoglu (Sparta Rotterdam), Kerem Atakan Kesgin (Göztepe A.S.), Muhayer Oktay (Fortuna Düsseldorf), Oguz Aydin (Bucaspor), Oguz Kagan Güçtekin (Fenerbahçe A.S.), Rahmetullah Berisbek (Gençlerbirligi), Umut Günes (VfB Stuttgart)

The qualifying stages begin on March 21 2018 and all of the matches will be played in Denmark. The team’s schedule is as follows;

21.03.2018 – Turkey vs Austria
24.03.2018 – Denmark vs Turkey
27.03.2018 – Bosnia & Herzegovina vs Turkey

Only the winner of each group qualifies for the U19 Euro Championship.
