Roma are after two young Turkish players

Rom are interested in signing two young Turkish players after the success they’ve had with wonderkid Cengiz Under.

Roma’s sporting director Monchi has been following two young Turkish players, Sefa Akgun and Yunus Akgun, who are playing for the youth teams of Galatasaray and Trabzonspor, respectively.

The Italians are looking to transfer the two youngsters after being impressed with their performances in their youth teams. The Italian giants have also watched them closely during their appearances in the U-17 Euro Championship Elite Group matches.

Monchi, a former player himself who played for Sevilla as a goalkeeper, was instrumental in signing wonderkid Cengiz Under from Istanbul Basaksehir at the beginnng of the season for €13 million.

Both players are midfielders and are highly rated by their current clubs.

Official bids to sign the young Turkish players are expected this summer.
