Besiktas offer to sign NEC's Ferdi Kadioglu

Besiktas have made a bid to sign Nijmegen’s, also known as NEC, young attacking midfielder Ferdi Kadioglu for €1 million.

The Black Eagles have made a €1 million offer to sign promising midfielder Ferdi Kadioglu from Holland’s Nijmegen. The player is currently plying his trade in Holland’s second division, Eerste Divisie, and has been scouted by a number of Turkish clubs besides Besiktas.

The defending Turkish Super Lig champions have started to prepare for next season already and have made Kadioglu a top transfer target as they look to bring younger players into the first-team.

The Dutch-born player is eligible for the Turkish national team through his father, who is Turkish. For now, it seems, he has chosen to represent the Netherlands, however.

He has scored 5 goals and asissted 10 in 27 appearances for NEC.

Besiktas’ management are willing to improve their offer if Kadioglu is open to moving to Istanbul, according to reports from Turkey.
