Mauricio Isla: I have a contract for 2 more years

Fenerbahce right-back Mauricio Isla spoke to press in Chile regarding a possible move.

After completing his first season with Fenerbahce, Mauricio Isla arrived in his native Chile with his family for the summer holidays.

During a conversation with the press at the airport in Santiago, he was asked about a possible return to Chile to which he replied;

“I am a Universidad fan and I want to play there one day but I have a contract with Fenerbahce for 2 more years. I asked my representative and he told me the same thing. No one has spoken with me regarding a move yet.”

The Chile international signed for Fenerbahce from Cagliari in July of 2017.

He made a total of 25 appearances for Fener this season; 21 in the league and 4 in the Turkish Cup.
