Galatasaray offer $4m for Cruz Azul midfielder

Galatasaray offer $4m for Martin Rodriguez

Galatasaray have made a transfer offer to sign Chilean midfielder Martin Rodriguez.

Turkish Super Lig champions Galatasaray have begun their summer moves and their first is a $4 million offer for Mexican side Cruz Azul midfielder Martin Rodriguez.

Rodriguez, a Chile international, is an attacking midfielder who can also play on the wings.

The 23-year-old has played 24 games for Cruz Azul this season, scoring 3 goals and assisting 1.

Negotiations are in early stages and Galatasaray are said to be waiting for a response.

The Lions finished 1st in one of the tightest title races in Europe this season and are looking to re-enforce their squad for next season’s Champions League competition.
