Galatasaray forward Sinan Gumus set for salary raise

Sinan Gumus is set to get a pay raise after stepping up his game in the second half of the season.

Galatasaray striker Sinan Gumus will receive a salary raise along with a new contract before the beginning of pre-season training.

The German-born player was on the fringes of the first team for the majority of the 2017/18 season however he has stepped up and delivered when he was needed most in the second half of the campaign.

The 24-year-old currently earns €600,000 annually and his contract expires on June 30th 2019. However, his new deal will see him get a pay bump to €1 million per year.

Gumus scored crucial goals during against Alanyaspor and Konyaspor which were the winning goals that allowed Cim Bom to stay in the tight title race of last season.

The striker moved to the Super Lig champions in the summer of 2014 from Stuttgart’s reserve team on a free transfer.
