Trabzonspor part ways with 4 players

Trabzonspor release 4 players

The club’s president Ahmet Agaoglu has decided the club needs young reinforcement due to an aging squad.

Trabzonspor have decided to release four players from their squad in order to free up an already hard-hit wage budget.

Striker Dame N’Doye, defenders Jan Durica and Ugur Demirok have been released after the club decided not to renew their contracts.

Meanwhile Slovakian defender Tomas Hubocan, on loan from Marseille, has been sent back to his club.

The Black Sea Storm is going through something of a clear-out as the president has made it clear he wants to reduce the financial burden of the club before making any major signings.

Another player who is expected to leave this summer is Colombian striker Hugo Rodallega. The South American has been linked with several Super Lig clubs, the latest being Alanyaspor.

Rodallega has decided to forego €600,000 in wages in order to push through a transfer away from the club.

The club’s management has also announced their pre-season camp will be held in Slovenia under the direction of new manager Unal Karaman who replaced the outgoing Riza Calimbay a few weeks ago.

Players and staff will meet up on June 26th in Trabzon before embarking on the trip to Slovenia for intense pre-season training.
