Celta Vigo close to signing Trabzonspor midfielder

Trabzonspor midfielder Okay Yokuslu is set for a move to Celta Vigo, reports from Turkey claim.

Spanish outfit Celta Vigo have agreed in principle with Trabzonspor and Turkish midfielder Okay Yokuslu, according to reports from Turkey.

The reports claim the talented defensive midfielder is scheduled to fly to Spain on Tuesday for a medical and to put the final touches to the necessary paperwork.

The financial details of the deal have not yet been announced however he is currently valued at around €8 million and is on a €1.2 million-a-year salary with the Black Sea Storm.

The 24-year-old joined Trabzonspor in 2015 for €2 million after an impressive four years with Super Lig rivals Kayserispor.

The player is a fan favourite however due to the deteriorating finances at the club, president Agaoglu has made it clear there will be a sell-off of several players to reduce the wage budget.
