Besiktas reject Fabricio's salary increase demand

Spanish goalkeeper Fabricio has had his salary increase request turned down by the club.

Besiktas goalkeeper Fabricio Ramirez, referred to as Fabri in Turkey, has been told he will not be getting a pay raise.

The 30-year-old, currently earning €1,250,000 per year, asked for an increase in pay at the end of the 2017/2018 season however the club’s management thinks he earns more than enough.

The Black Eagle’s hierarchy feels his current wages are more than what he would receive if he were to return to his native Spain therefore they will not be giving in to his demands.

The Spaniard moved to the Istanbul club on a free transfer from Deportivo la Coruna in July 2016 and has established himself as the club’s main goalkeeper.

His contract runs out June 2019.
