Besiktas negotiating transfer fee for Daniel Sturridge

The Super Lig club are locked in transfer talks with Liverpool regarding their English striker Daniel Sturridge.

Besiktas and Liverpool are claimed to be going back and forth about the transfer fee for unwanted striker Daniel Sturridge.

The England striker spent part of last season on loan with West Brom and is considered surplus to requirements at Anfield.

Turkish news outlet Star reports the English side are prepared to sell the striker for €15 million, though Besiktas want to spend no more than €5 million.

The Black Eagles have held talks with Sturridge’s Turkish representative Hasan Anil Eken and Liverpool over a summer move.

The Reds have given the green light for the England striker to leave this summer.

Besiktas have made signing a new striker a priority this summer as they lack a consistent goalscorer up front and are in need of a proven goalscorer as they look to replace Cenk Tosun since parting with him in January.
