Tottenham offer striker Fernando Llorente to Fenerbahce

The English club has offered striker Fernando Llorente to the Yellow Canaries.

Tottenham Hotspur have offered their striker Fernando Llorente to Fenerbahce as they try to get him sold this summer.

The 33-year-old is deemd unwanted at the London club however Fenerbahce’s new sporting director Damien Comolli has played down the possibility of a transfer due the finances necessary to complete such a deal.

“We can’t pay the transfer fee. It would have to be on a free transfer or a loan,” the Frenchman explained.

Comolli is Fenerbahce’s new sporing director and is looking to overhaul the way the Turkish club do business in order to reduce the financial burden on the club. The former Arsenal and Liverpool scout is one of the most well-connected transfer gurus in football.
