Besiktas looking to sell striker Negredo

Spanish forward Alvargo Negredo is being shopped around by the Black Eagles.

Besiktas are trying to offload their striker Negredo after he revealed he wants to move back to his homeland Spain.

The club’s president, Fikret Orman, has began offering the player’s services to Spanish clubs in the hopes that a deal can be made this summer.

Negredo moved to Istanbul at the beginning of the 2017/18 season for €2.5 million from Valencia and is currently earning a handsome €4,500,00 per year.

Orman is open to selling the player and given his age and inconsistency, the Istanbul side will be hoping they can sell him sooner rather than later.

Another possible destination is the UK. Orman is said to have good relations with clubs in England as well as Germany, however, the player himself would need to agree to a move to either country.

The Turkish club have one of the oldest squads in the Super Lig and are in dire need of a younger striker who can consistently score goals.
