Galatsaray ready to sell Gomis for €10m

Last season’s top scorer Bafetimbi Gomis has ruffled feathers at the club with his salary demands and could leave this summer.

Galatasaray are willing to sell last season’s top goalscorer Bafetimbi Gomis for €10 million, according to those close to the club.

The French striker demanded a salary increase last month, claiming he was offered a higher pay package from a club in the Far East. An unnamed Chinese club has allegedly offered the 32-year-old a deal worth €7 million per year.

This put the Turkish club in a tough spot as the player is already earning a hefty €3.3 million per year.

Several strikers are constantly linked with the Super Lig champions, who are making plans for life without Gomis if the player leaves this summer.
