Brazilian striker Bobo could return to Super Lig

Alanyaspor have held transfer talks with Brazilian striker Bobo, who currently plays for Sydney FC.

Former Besiktas striker Bobo could be on his way back to the Turkish Super Lig, according to Alanyaspor’s manager Mesut Bakkal.

Bakkal confirmed his club have spoken with the 33-year-old forward and have agreed in principle with the player.

“We spoke with Bobo, we have agreed terms with him. He wants to play for us. He has informed his club. God willing, it will happen,” explained the manager to BeIN Sports.

The Braizlian striker had an impressive season with the Australian club, scoring 29 goals in 34 appearances. He has one year left on his contract.

If he were to return to the Super Lig, it would be his third Turkish club, having played for Besiktas and Kayserispor prior to moving to the land down under.
