Trabzonspor receive 15% of transfer fee for Majeed Waris

Ghanaian star Majeed Waris is set to sign a permanent deal for FC Porto this week.
Former Trabzonspor striker Abdul Majeed Waris has agreed to a four-year contract with FC Porto after an impressive 6 month loan with the Portuguese club.
He had arrived in Trabzonspor for €6.9 million from Spartak Moscow in September 2014.
The 26-year-old played for Trabzonspor for one season, back in 2014/2015, however he was sold the following summer for €4.5 million to FC Lorient after failing to deliver.
The player had a rough time in Turkey.
The sale included a future transfer fee clause that would entitle the Turkish club to 15% of any future transfer fee.
Majeed’s transfer to FC Porto is reported to be around €4.5 million, which means as per the transfer agreement, the Turkish club will receive around €675,000.
