Trabzonspor in talks for Hoffenheim defender Ermin Bicakcic

Trabzonspor have set eyes on Bundesliga club Hoffenheim’s defender Ermin Bicakcic.

The Black Sea Storm continue their search for a defender and the latest name to be linked with the club is Hoffenheim defender Ermin Bicakcic. The two clubs have held preliminary discussions regarding the availability of the Bosnian centre-back and talks are reported to have been positive.

The Bundesliga club are willing to part ways with the defender, who donned the club’s jersey just 13 times last season.

The Turkish club’s manager Unal Karaman would prefer a loan move initially whereas the German side are looking to sell the player outright.

Trabzonspor club president Ahmet Agaoglu is expected to travel to Germany sometime next week to complete the deal.

The Super Lig club have made signing a defender their top priority, having narrowly missed out on signing Damien Da Silva last week.
