Vitesse sign midfielder Matus Bero from Trabzonspor

The Slovakian midfielder has signed for the Dutch club today.

Trabzonspor central midfielder Matus Bero has left the Super Lig and signed a four-year contract with Vitesse.

The 22-year-old had two years left on his contract. No details regarding the transfer fee have been made public yet however the player was valued at €1 million by the Turkish club.

The young player had been on the radar of the Eredivisie club for a few years.

The Dutch club’s manager spoke highly of their newest acquisition;

“Matus is an attacking midfielder. He is always looking for a threat and has a lot of depth in his game. We’re convinced that he will add something extra to Vitesse.”

He was assigned the number21 and will join his new club’s training camp in Austria this week.

Bero made 15 appearances last season for the Black Sea Storm.
