Trezeguet: I prefer Galatasaray

The Egyptian star stated he preferred to sign for the Lions rather than any other club.

One of Egypt’s most wanted players, Trezeguet, spoke to reporters at Istanbul Ataturk Airport today as he made his way back to his current club Kasimpasa. The attacking midfielder denied reports of him joining Serie A giants Inter, saying he prefers to play for Galatasaray.

“I did not say I would go to Inter. I said I have an offer from them Inter. I’m waiting for Galatasaray. I want to play in the Champions League. That’s why I prefer Galatasaray,” he explained to the gathered reporters.

There have been reports of the 23-year-old signing for Inter and immediately being loaned out to Parma however the player has denied these claims.

“God willing, the move to Galatasaray will materialize but I’m here to train with Kasimpasa. That’s why I’m back in Turkey. And it’s not just Inter, I have other offers from abroad. I’m still a Kasimpasa player.”
