Ferdi Kadioglu in Istanbul for talks with Fenerbahce

The talented Turkish-Dutch youngster is expected to sign with Fenerbahce.

On Friday, NEC Nijmegen’s promising midfielder Ferdi Kadioglu was spotted at Istanbul Ataturk Airport with several Turkish outlets stating that he is set to sign for Super Lig giants Fenerbahce.

He was accompanied by his father, mother and agents Karel Jansen and Joost Ebergen.

Neither club has yet confirmed the deal, but insiders are claiming that Fenerbahce will sign the youngster and pay NEC €1.4 million for the 18-year-old’s transfer.

If a deal is made, Kadioglu would be the first Dutch signing by new Fenerbahce boss Phillip Cocu.

Ferdi scored 8 goals in 39 appearances for his club in the Eerst Divisie last season.
