Emre Mor: I'm not leaving Celta Vigo

The Turkish international addressed the transfer speculation surrounding him.

Emre Mor has ruled out leaving La Liga outfit Celta Vigo. The 20-year-old had a rough time with the club in the second half of the previous season after being late for training multiple times and not being committed as his teammates.

The youngster was said to be on his way out of the club this summer, with Fenerbahce and Galatasaray as potential destinations, however he has ruled out a move for now.

“There are a lot of rumours about my future but let me be clear, I will stay at Celta. I’m not leaving. The club is happy with me and I am with them. I like the new coach and so I don’t see any reason to go to another club,” he told the press.

The promising midfielder didn’t get along with the club’s previous coach Juan Carlos Unzue but things are looking better under newly appointed Antonio Mohamed.

“Last year was not good for me. I did not have the confidence of the coach and that didn’t help. I think that has changed now. I spoke with the new coach, Antonio Mohamed, when he signed and he told me he believes in me,” he added.
