Trabzonspor reject $14m offer for Abdulkadir Omur

The club’s president Ahmet Agaolgu revealed the news during an interview with TRT Spor.

Trabzonspor wonderkid Abdulkadir Omur continues to be chased by clubs from around Europe. Portuguese giants Benfica are the latest club to have made an offer for the youngster, according to the club’s president Ahmet Agaoglu.

“Benfica made an offer of $14 million upfront for Abdulkadir. They also wanted to give us 4 players in addition to that, in exchange for our player. We rejected it. I won’t sell our player for this amount,” he explained.

The Black Sea Storm have two of the most promising players in the Super Lig in their squad with Abdulkadir Omur and Yusuf Yazici.

Yusuf has been linked with many clubs as well, particularly teams from the English Premier League.

The club recently sold another talented midfielder, Okay Yokuslu, to Celta Vigo for €6 million.
