Fenerbahce to play Benfica in Champions League qualifier

The Yellow Canaries have been paired with the Portuguese giants in the Champions League qualifier.

The draw for the third qualifying round of the Champions League took place in Nyon, Switzerland today, along with the draw for the Europa League qualifiers. The Turkish club have been dealt a strong opponent in the 2018/2019 Champions League qualifier.

The Super Lig club were paired with Benfica, a team they have history with.

The last time the two clubs met was in the semi-finals of the 2013 Europa League.

The first leg of the tie will be played on August 7th-8th and the second leg will be played on August 14th. Fenerbahce will play their first leg away in Portugal.
