Besiktas sell Fabri to Fulham FC for €6m

The Black Eagles have parted ways with the Spanish goalkeeper.

Besiktas’ goalkeeper Fabri is set to be officially presented as a Fulham FC player. The Spaniard is currently in London undergoing a medical ahead of his move to the English Premier League club.

Fabri, 30, told reporters in Turkey last week that he had already agreed personal terms.

He said: “As you know the Premier League is a major league and one I am interested in joining. Negotiations between the two clubs are ongoing but there is a verbal agreement with Fulham. I want to thank Besiktas for my time here.”

Besiktas have announced the transfer on Turkey’s Public Disclosure Forum (KAP).

The Spaniard kept 12 clean sheets last season as Besiktas finished fourth in the Turkish Super Lig.
