Ruben Ribeiro agrees terms with Rizespor

Rizespor continue their transfer business with another signing; Ruben Ribeiro.

Caykur Rizespor have agreed terms with Sporting Lisbon striker Ruben Ribeiro, according to reports in Turkey.

The 30-year-old Portuguese player has accepted a €700,000 per year contract after negotiating with the Turkish team. His initial request was €1 million per year, but has agreed to a smaller figure after several days of talks.

Ruben is expected to travel to Istanbul for a medical later this week and will join his new teammates for their training camp in Rize on August 1st.

He scored 3 goals and made 5 assists in 25 appearances for Sporting last season.

This will be the first time he will join a club outside of his native Portugal.
