Fenerbahce loan Salih Ucan to Empoli

The Turkish midfielder will spend the 2018/2019 season with the Italian club.

Fenerbahce’s sporting director Damien Comolli has announced the club’s decision to loan out their midfielder Salih Ucan to Serie A newboys Empoli.

The announcement was made during a press conference at the club’s facilities in Istanbul.

The move is an initial season-long loan although Empoli have the option to make the transfer permanent.

Empoli were promoted to Italy’s Serie A from the second division last season, after they finished in first place in Serie B.

Ucan will return to Italy once again, having spent two season there with AS Roma from 2014 to 2016.
