Mexico’s Marco Fabian in Istanbul for talks with Besiktas

The Mexican international is in Istanbul this weekend to conduct talks with the Black Eagles.

Marco Fabian could be the latest name to join Besiktas. The Mexican international, who is a free agent after terminating his deal with German club Frankfurt, has arrived in Istanbul and is discussing terms with Besiktas.

The 29-year-old arrived yesterday and has met with the Super Lig club’s president Fikret Orman and club officials, who have given the player a tour of the club’s facilities.

Fabian was quoted by Mexican press as wanting to continue his career in Europe instead of returning to his homeland.

Besiktas are still looking for a replacement after their attacking midfielder Talisca left for greener pastures upon the completion of his loan.
