Michael Frey: I’m very happy

The Swiss striker spoke of his happiness after accepting Fenerbahce’s offer.

Fenerbahce’s new striker Michael Frey spoke briefly during his signing ceremony which was held at the club’s facilities on Friday.

The 24-year-old, who penned a four-year contract with his new club, said he was very happy to sign for the Yellow Canaries.

“I am very happy. I am proud of myself. I had a good season last year. I will continue to train the same way. I will score goals and win points for my team. By working together and playing as a team, I believe we will be successful and achieve our objectives,” he said.

The club’s sporting director Damien Comolli was also present alongside the new player and spoke highly of the Swiss star.
