Europa League: Besiktas draw with Partizan

The Black Eagles couldn’t find a way past the Serbian outfit as they drew 1-1 after 90 minutes.

Besiktas will have to play another 90 minutes of football in the second leg of their Europa League play-offs tie against Partizan FK after they drew 1-1 in Belgrade on Thursday evening.

The home side went 1-0 up in the 14th minute via their talisman Ricardo Gomes.

The Turkish club immediately bounced back, however, with an equalizer in the 15th minute thanks to midfielder Tolgay Arslan who headed the ball in from a cross by Ricardo Quaresma.

The second leg of the tie will be played on August 30th at Vodafone Park in Istanbul.
