Mbaye Diagne: I want to be the top scorer in Turkey

The Istanbul club’s striker, Mbaye Diagne, has set his sights on the Goal King title.

Kasimpasa striker Mbaye Diagne has started off the new season very well — 5 goals in the first three games. In an interview with Demiroren News Agency (DHA), the 26-year-old appeared fully motivated on his objective; to score more goals than anyone else in the Super Lig this season.

“One of my goals this season is to score as many goals as I can. I don’t want to score less than 20 goals. I want to score more even, obviously, but it’s not just about performance. I hope we can achieve what we want and that we have a very good season,” he said as he answered several questions.

The former Juventus transferred to Kasimpasa from Chinese Super League club Tianjin Teda in January 2018.
