Wesley Sneijder misses Turkish food

Former Galatasaray midfielder Wesley Sneijder is a die-hard fan of Turkish cuisine despite leaving the country over a year ago.
Wesley Sneijder, currently playing for Al-Gharafa in Qatar, says he prefers Turkish food over any other.
The 34-year-old was spotted enjoying a meal at a Turkish restaurant called “Sazeli” in Doha, Qatar with his teammates and the club’s president.

“I remember the good times I had in Turkey. I always prefer Turkish food,” he was quoted as saying.
The former Dutch international spent five successful years with The Lions before departing in August 2017 for French club Nice.
