Konyaspor’s Jahovic suspended for 2 games

The Macedonian striker has been hit with a two game suspension by the Turkish Football Federation.

Konyaspor will be without their talisman striker Adis Jahovic for 2 games. The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) handed the Macedonian the suspension for his sending off during Konyaspor’s clash with Amasyaspor in the Third Round of the Turkish Cup on September 26th.

In addition to the suspension, the player has been fined 13,000 Turkish Lira.

In the 50th minute of the aforementioned game, the Konyaspor striker was involved in a scuffle with an opposition player. He was also involved in a verbal spat with the referee following the incident which led to his dismissal.
