Guti: I’m working with a great coach

Besiktas assistant manager Guti has praised his colleague Senol Gunes, saying he enjoys working with him.

Real Madrid legend spoke highly of Besiktas manager Senol Gunes while talking to reporters in Madrid.

“It’s not a good idea to rush. I’m happy with my current situation but in football you never know will happen. Still, my priority is to continue in Turkey,” he said.

“I’m working with a terrific coach who has many years of experience. I’m learning a lot of positive things,” he added.

He has been reported to be looking for a step up from the assistant manager role he is currently in as he wishes to test himself as a first team manager.

Guti joined the Besiktas backroom staff at the beginning of the season from Real Madrid’s youth side where he was managing the club’s future prospects.
