Besiktas full-back Adriano out with injury

The Black Eagles will be without their star full-back for their next Super Lig fixture.

Besiktas have ruled out Adriano Correia from their squad for their upcoming Turkish Super Lig game against Goztepe.

That’s according to the statement made public by the club.

“Our football player, Adriano Correia, who took part in a training session on September 13 which also involved a our Under-21 side, was found to have suffered a edema and overstretched media ligaments of the left knee. The findings were discovered after a orthopedic examination and MRI scans.

He has begun receiving treatment.”

It is unknown how long the former Bareclona player will be out of action for.
