Demba Ba Galatasaray: The Lions have offered to loan the striker

The Lions have made their first move ahead of what’s expected to be a busy winter transfer period.

Galatasaray have set their eyes on Shanghai Shenhua’s star striker Demba Ba, according to reports in Turkey.

The 33-year-old, who has played for Besiktas and Goztepe, has left a mark in Turkey with his goal-scoring abilities, something which Galatsaray are in desperate need of this season as they have just one striker in their squad.

According to the reports, The Lions have offered to take the Senegalese striker on loan until the end of the season. The club have offered to cover a percentage of his wages without paying a loan fee.

The talks between the two clubs have been positive and all that’s needed is to prepare the necessary paperwork in order to facilitate the loan, the reports claim.
