Rizespor to sell two players; Traore and Jach

The small Super Lig side have told two of their players, Armand Traore and Jaroslaw Jach, to look for new clubs.

Caykur Rizespor coach Okan Buruk has given permission to two of his players, Polish defender Jaroslaw Jach and Senegalese left-back Armand Traore, to look for new clubs after making it clear that they have no place his tactical plans for the second half of the season.

Jach joined the Turkish club on a season-long loan from Crystal Palace but has failed to impress since arriving in the summer, making just 5 league appearances.

Traore, on the other hand, transferred from Nottingham Forest in the summer and signed a three-year deal, has failed to make a single league appearance for Rizespor.

Speaking to reporters, Buruk said he is hoping the club can avoid making the same mistakes in the transfer window next month.

“Unfortunately, the mistakes we made in the beginning of the season has left us lagging behind our opponents. We want to start the second half of the season with a good plan. We are trying to part ways with some of our players by mutual consent. We want to have a bigger squad for the rest of the season,” he explained.

Rizespor are the worst-performing team in the Super Lig this season, stuck at the bottom of the table with just 12 points after 17 games.
