Galatasaray offer to loan Monaco’s Falcao

Galatasaray loan Falcao. The Turkish club have made an offer to loan the Colombian

The Lions have made an offer to sign Colombian star Falcao on loan from Monaco.

Galatasaray are one step closer to bringing Radamel Falcao to Istanbul. The Super Lig champions have made an official offer to sign the Colombian international on a one-and-a-half year loan from AS Monaco.

The French club are reported to want to sell the player due to his high wages and his dip in form this season.

One major stumbling block for Galatasaray, however, is Falcao’s wages, reported to be €9 million per season.

The Turkish club are reported to be looking for sponsors who could finance the deal, covering part of the player’s wages. Sources close to the club say they’ve already met with two major companies and a deal could be reached within days.

Fatih Ilek, who owns Falcao’s image rights in Turkey, shared a post on his Instagram account, hinting at the player’s imminent arrival.

This is the second striker the club are working on bringing to Turk Telekom Arena.

Brazilian forward Alan Carvalho has already agreed to join The Lions from Guangzhou Evergrande in January on a free transfer.
