Besiktas interested in Genclerbirligi’s Ahmet Oguz

The Black Eagles have found a right-back in Turkey’s second division they want to add to their squad.

Besiktas are interested in Genclerbirligi right-back Ahmet Oguz, according to their coach Erkan Sozeri.

The Ankara-based club’s coach revealed Besiktas’ interest in his player while speaking to reporters on Saturday.

“Besiktas is interested in Ahmet Oguz. The decision will be made by the club’s administration. To know that a club like Besiktas is interested in of my players, as the coach of Genclerbirligi, it makes me happy,” he said.

An official approach has not been made yet but the club have inquired about Oguz’s availability and are reported to be preparing an offer.

The 25-year-old featured in all of Gencerbirligi’s games so far this season, 17 in total, during which he made 2 assists.
