Trabzonspor close in on Red Star’s Savic

The Black Sea Storm are close to finalizing the deal to bring Vujadin Savic to Trabzon.

Trabzonspor are in advanced talks with Red Star Belgrade for their centre-back Vujadin Savic.

The 28-year-old is reported to be interested in making the move to Turkey and has agreed to the terms presented by the Turkish club.

However, his club, Serbian giants Red Star Belgrade, are asking for of a reported €500,000 transfer fee in order to let him travel to Trabzon to sign the paperwork.

Trabzonspor are hoping to pay much less than that and are making plans for alternatives, with Charles Kabore and Ngadeu Ngadjui next on their wishlist, if an agreement with the Serbian club can’t be made.

Savic is in the final 6 months of his deal which expires on June 30, 2019.
