Porto defender Mbemba to join Besiktas - report

FC Porto defender Chancel Mbemba is linked with a move to Besiktas.

Besiktas have reached an agreement with Porto centre-back Chancel Mbemba, reports from Belgium claim.

The 24-year-old joined the Portuguese heavyweights in July 2018 from Newcastle United for €4.5 million but has failed to establish himself in the squad, making just one league appearance.

According to the reports, The Black Eagles will pay €2.5 million for the transfer and will sign a four-year contract with the Congo international.

Besiktas are yet to comment on the report.
