Ankaragucu sign Norwich City right-back Ivo Pinto

The Super Lig minnows have struck a deal with the Championship side for the Portuguese player only to be turned down by the right-back in the last moment.

Ankaragucu have failed to reach an agreement with Portuguese full-back Ivo Pinto, according to reports from Turkey. The club had successfully negotiated a deal with Norwich City but were unable to convince the 29-year-old to sign on the dotted line.

The right-back was in Turkey earlier today to discuss terms with the Super Lig outfit but is reported to have left after not being satisfied with the compensation package offered.

Pinto has made 6 appearances for the English club this season during which he made 2 assists.

The Portuguese player has been at Norwich since January 2016, transferring from Croatian giants Dinamo Zagreb for €3.7 million but has been a fringe player this season.
