Roma deny interest in Ozyakup Roma

The Italian powerhouse are not interested in Oguzhan Ozyakup.

AS Roma sporting director Monchi has denounced the reports circulating in certain media outlets linking the Italian club with a move for Besiktas midfielder Oguzhan Ozyakup.

Monchi categorically denied the reports as fabrication and said the Turkish midfielder is not on the club’s shortlist of players they are considering.

He said even though they wanted to reinforce the midfield, the reports do not reflect reality. They are, however, interested in Ismael Bennacer of Empoli who is at the top of their shortlist.
