Alanyaspor sign Czech forward Josef Sural

The Super Lig minnows have added a striker to their squad.

Alanyaspor have signed Josef Sural from Sparta Praha, the Turkish club confirmed on their official website.

The 28-year-old has penned a two-and-a-half year contract with his new club.

Alanyaspor are reported to have paid a transfer fee of €160,000 to the Czech giants for the player’s release.

Speaking at the signing press conference held at the club’s Cengiz Aydogan Sports Complex facilities, Sural said he was happy with his decision.

“I’m happy to be here. We will fight together to get the team to a better place. Alanya is a place where I can live with my family. I followed the Turkish league. I chose Alanyaspor because I thought it would be a good place to play football and live,” he explained.

The club’s president, Hasan Cavusoglu, revealed the transfer negotiations took almost 20 days and is looking forward to seeing their new player in action.

“We believe he will be a good addition,” Cavusoglu said.
