Juraj Kucka joins Parma from Trabzonspor

The Black Sea Storm have sold their Slovak midfielder Kucka to Italian outfit Parma.

Trabzonspor have accepted an offer from Serie A outfit Parma for their midfielder Juraj Kucka. The Italian club was reported to have been interested in the player since the beginning of the month.

The 31-year-old packed his bags and left Trabzon for Italy early Monday morning on a private plane to complete his return to the Italian top flight.

He is expected to pass a medical exam before signing a two-year contract. The transfer fee is reported to be €4.76 million.

The Slovak international joined Trabzonspor in July 2017 for €5 million from AC Milan.

Trabzonspor have gotten rid of several players this month, reducing their wage budget by €7.2 million after the departures of their highest earners, Burak Yilmaz, Onur Kivrak and Juraj Kucka.
