The Bundesliga club have struck a deal with The Lions for their promising defender Ozan Kabak.

Galatasaray have cashed in on their young talent Ozan Kabak, accepting an €11 million transfer fee from German outfit VfB Stuttgart.

The 18-year-old has been one of the most sought-after players in the Turkish super Lig since the beginning of the season, with a number of Europe’s top clubs interested in the youngster.

The Turkish club announced the transfer on Wednesday. Kabak has signed a five-year deal, tying him him to the German club until June 2024.

Kabak’s departure has filled the club’s coffers, the club having already sold Garry Rodrigues for $10.25 million.

His transfer has been met with major disappointment by Cim Bom supporters, however. Fans have taken to social media to express their disappointment with the club’s management saying they should have held on to the player who rose through the ranks from the club’s youth academy.

VfB are in 16th place in the Bundesliga with just 14 points.

Kabak has been everpresent for Galatasaray this season, making 13 Super Lig appearances and 4 in the Champions League.
